Let's talk about Decal & its Plug-ins

Hello all,
Well as I am sure that most of you know. Decal is back.... sort of.

It is open Public Alpha stage which means that there may be some bugs.

I'd like to hear about plug-ins that you install and try and how they worked.

I had no trouble installing decal except that it made me go and get the latest version of DirectX 9 which installed fine and I had no problems with that.

I tried Decal by itself first with no plugins and had no issues after installing the latest version of DirectX and then I installed Treestats because Keyloh said that she had installed and and it worked. I am happy to say that I have moved up a few notches on Treestats since July (for the time being anyway). It works fine.

I have not installed any of the other plugins that are showing as available on Sucamarto's AC Heaven (http://acheaven.buwahaha.com/) as there are none there that I have used before besides tree stats.

Please post any of your positive or negative findings are in regards to decal plug-in's.... I would to know what ones others are using and having success with.

I have decal up and running and it seems to work very well as a host.

The plugins on the other hand are very hit and miss.

I only really ran Eltank before hand as a main plugin as it did everything i wanted really. I have it up now and it delivers what i require atm, and thats basically a route finder ( though none of the new content has been updated since tod ) and corpse scanner. The corpse scanning works very well.

I have managed to buff myself with it, but i enjoy self buffing so atm im carrying that out myself.

I have also tried find it ( a poor BS2 app.) which is adequate.

Also the 'test' plugin gives you a good option of turning off all evades in the chat menu, which is handy.

I have robochef installed but i havn't used it in anger yet.

Generally for what i want decal deliveres.

I downloaded decal and it works fine so far. I only downloaded "Find-it" because I wanted to find fallen critters, but it was very irritating and so I turned it off. I think I'll hold off until BS comes back out.

Just a note to let everyone know that El Tank has been updated with a beta 3 release which has addressed many of the original release issue's.
