Hello All, In regards to Asheron's Call..... it has always been the "most fun" game for me. I have tried many others and some come close, but NONE are more fun. I frequent the following website: www.mmorpg.com/index.cfmand it gives alot of information about the mmorgs out there. The ratings is what I find particularly interesting. It breaks down games based on a number of different catagories and then gives them an overall rating. Both by the website & players themselves. There are quite a few games rated higher than Asherons Call, but I could find NONE that rated higher than AC in the "Most Fun" catagory. And I quite agree !!!!!! So... for those of you that still peak in here once in awhile.... I encourage you to seek out and try other games (as I do), but when you want to have some fun.... come home to AC. I'll be waiting for you here. The graphics may not be the best and it's a bit laggy at times, but the fun is always there. We may not have much longer that AC will be here for us to play (I'm no dummie, I can see the writing on the wall), but while it is here... this is where you will find me... having some fun. Hope to see all the little wanderers soon. luv ya all,

No, Judy, but Turbine is putting most of its development staff and money into the two new games, DDO (which I'm enjoying as well as AC) and also The Lord of the Rings, which is expected to be out this winter. As you've seen lately, they've put some time into cosmetic changes, like the friends list, but as for new content, well, it's been light. Turbine cant afford to maintain an old game forever. They pulled the plug on AC2 because the numbers were dwindling, and AC1 is beginning to get that way too. I will be sad to say goodbye to Dereth, but I'm giving it another 2 years max, and 1 is more likely. As for AC, it is the best, most-well-rounded game I've ever played. But without new content, it becomes a game of killing the same gold shallows shark over and over. I'm trying out DDO, not because I dont love all of you, but because I'm jaded and want excitement. DDO is not as good IMHO as AC1 was initially, but right now it's the best of what else is out there. Kathy
