Hi all, I am RC's representative to the Leafcull Coalition. They're sponsoring a serverwide activity.

Here's what Meri posted:

Lets plan this to start on March 19 - 25 If we get more monarchies than that to sign up we will extend it inot the next week.

Here is what I would like to see. Each Monarchy sign up for a day. That day belongs to you, you may plan anything you wish. A trade day, a hunt, a quest, or all of the above or just throw a party, you decide. If you wish to give prizes for something that would be up to you. What I do ask is this, you give every person who is participating... SOMETHING.... Something they can either wear, hold, lay on the ground or weild so that you can snap a group picture. Each picture will then be submitted to Leafcull Coaliton for our Screenshot section.

I signed Rain Clan up for Saturday March 25th, so we need to start thinking about what to do.

I decided to save the resting place portal gem for a time when more people could come. So we could use that.

Frore is always a good quest to go on too. But, since we're the last day, I'm sure all the big quests like Bobo, Gaerlan, Aerlinthe, Burun kings, etc will already be done.

Maybe we could focus on lower level quests? I bet most of the quests will be 100+. It'd be nice for any of the low levels out there to have something to do too. Living weapons maybe, or the Linvak Tukal Siege quest.

Hello All,

If I remember correctly, we now have 2 Artist Crystals.
Both myself and Terress obtained one.
We could use one for ourselves, and use the other for some kind of event.
Of course rules will be needed to be in place, but it seems that having 30 minutes of a weapon tinkers rare is a nice thing to share...After all Clan members get what they wish done of course !
Just brainstorming, I could be all wet regarding this as well !

We could create our own live events.

1st event - Escaped criminal.
Someone sends out a message on the roleplaying channel saying a criminal has escaped, where they were last seen, and where they were heading. The criminal would be PKL and players could chose to kill them or help them. (basically the same event Jolt used to do)

2nd event - Where in Dereth.
The last time there was a bunch of LC coalition events, one of them was Where in Dereth? It would start out with a clue leading to a location where another player was waiting. When that player was found they'd give another clue on where to find another player. First person to find the last location is the winner.

3rd event - Where in Dereth, with a twist.
Randomly throughout the day, we could send out a broadcast on the Roleplay channel. It would be similar to the where in dereth clues. But the players would not only have to find the location, but they would have to complete another task. Example:

"I'm standing in a tower near Fort Aimaru, and I could really use some hot chocolate."

or "I'm standing in Getram's smithy and I could use some salvaged bronze."

or "I'm at a festival stone near water and I have a question for you."

First person to find them and complete the task would win a prize. And at the end of the day, the person that completed the most of these tasks gets a bonus prize.

These are great ideas!!! The Where in Dereth was vetoed by LCC, so I dont think we should do that, but we could do some variation, as Natalia suggested.

Some suggestions:
* I think it would be cool to have several quests throughout the day - that's why I signed up for Saturday. Then we could run a level 0-20 quest, and then a 20-40 quest, and then a 40-60 quest and a 60-80 quest and a 80 to 100 quest and a 100+ quest. That would mean 6 quests in one day....might not be possible, but something to talk about.

* Or we could have an event at 10 one at 12 one at 2, one at 4 and so on - every 2 hours - then some things could be things like the crafting fair, and some things like a quest, and some things like a robe race through the dires (say start people at the D note portal with a hint of where the next person is - so Where in Dereth, but without armor and limit it to the Dires) or, we could have people start in a starter town in a robe issued by the Clan - dyed pink, with no weapons - for an hour (or half hour) they hunt to get a weapon....the person with the most gold letters wins.

* We could have some sort of swap meet - either a real one or maybe a white elephant event for the worst gifts.

Oh and one more thing ---- we need to think of prizes....we're not big like some of them, but for instance Schugeldson is offering a villa as a prize on their scavenger hunt. We cant compete with that, but we can scrape up some good stuff. I'll put Aly to work gathering cash - might have to spend some cash on Armor smith or whiskeyjack.

We could get bunny master title tokens as prizes. I'm pretty sure they aren't attuned/bonded, and now that you can collect titles people might want them.

I could get some high stakes gambling tokens too. like a couple hundred.

I also have a bunch of MMDs/plats, salvage, keys, and some other crap people might want.

I put the gems in the chest in mansion yous can use them and will look for more...

I also have some mmd's and what ever else yous need just give me a list I am sure i could fine them or buy them for the prizes

oh can we have all the same clotheing so we know who we are in our clan for this

I haven't really thought of much else... but here's one idea.

We find a good cliff. have people shift-tap jump off it (meaning, they are going at walking speed and tap the space bar). the person (or corpse) to go the furthest wins.

problem: corpses could get stuck on the cliff or something. and theres the whole vitae thing.

The idea I'm happiest with is to have several activities of various kinds. We can decide what they are.

SOmething that every participant gets a souvineer. Sho jr suggested we have a hunt and inscribe the item into the robe. Something like level appropriate rare items - maybe send someone out to find 10 red plants or 20 gold letters or 10 lich seals or whatever....we can decide whatever.

Whatever things we decide, I'd say we need to have a souvineer rain clan robe for all the participants and rain clan should also wear distintive dyed robes like terress suggested.

Who wants to serve on a committee to talk over ideas? I know Natalia will need to be on it! Natalia has loads of ideas.

I listed the activities on the Leafcull Coalition Board, and Sweet Destiny and Meri were impressed that we'd planned a whole day of events.
